Get a spare car key
Keep a spare before you lose your only working car key.
Lost key, a spare needed or a faulty remote? We assess a compatible solution for your Mercedes.
Quote agreed before work · Availability confirmed by phone

Does your Mercedes unlock but refuse to start, or start while its remote buttons no longer work? Describe those behaviours separately. A remote fault, recognition problem and vehicle malfunction do not necessarily call for the same intervention.
Mention drops, exposure to water and any displayed message. If you have a second key, explain how it behaves without dismantling the first one. This helps establish whether you need repair, a spare or further assessment beforehand.
A Mercedes key cannot be selected by counting its buttons. The vehicle generation and equipment determine the usable reference and available preparation. An emergency blade, where fitted, does not on its own replace electronic permission to start.
Tell us at the outset if your car has KEYLESS-GO. We clarify which functions will be retained and tested. Some versions require manufacturer procedures; these limits are explained before arranging an unsuitable job.
For a usable A-Class, E-Class or GLC, a spare can be arranged before the last key disappears. If a Vito or Sprinter is stranded, describe its location and access to the parking area.
Mobile service in Geneva and Vaud is agreed after the vehicle details have been reviewed. Your quote specifies functions, preparation work and travel arrangements. You will need to demonstrate your right to access the vehicle.
